First Time Buyer + Renewable Energy

First Time Home Buyers

At the present time, there are some new tax credits which were introduced with the “The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009” that give first time home buyers some really nice incentive to purchase a home. Lets start with the purchase itself. A first time home buyer, who purchases a domicile before December 2009 is eligible for a maximum credit of $8,000 which can be claimed on a buyer’s 2008 federal tax return.
See more on the details of this from the IRS website here.
This is a great deal, as the 2008 year incentive for the first time home buyer had a maximum credit of $7,500 which Also had to be paid back over a period of 15 years, The American Recover And Reinvestment Act of 2009, there is no required payback.

Now lets talk Renewable Energy.

Even in the state of Colorado there are better places than others to have Solar, or Wind energy purely based on location, however Colorado itself is one of the best places in the USA to use either Solar, Wind, or Hybrid Energy solutions. Of the Top 10, California is #1 and Colorado #2. And with Colorado’s 300 days per year of sun, its pretty simple to figure out why.
With the Federal grant from The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, and local Colorado state grants, listed available here at DSIRE, you can save  $4,000 Federal and depending on your location and needs, thousands more.

More details will be posted soon
